Narrative:

Climb out of atl runway 26L, moderate to heavy turbulence. At about 15000 ft, lightning strike. Shortly after, we received 'ELT on' caution and a moment later 'EFIS comp mon' caution. We couldn't confirm a direct lightning strike and continued on with the QRH. The QRH procedures would not correct much of the problem with EFIS. At FL220 during climb out, we contacted company maintenance. Not sure if there was any damage, so we diverted to jan because going to mty with haze and possible VOR approach. The captain ahrs (attitude heading reference system) wasn't working properly. Landing at jan was no problem. Company and customs met us at the gate. The walkaround the plane showed burnt damage under the left wing and outside fairing. Maintenance cleared it for a one time ferry flight to maintenance base. Landed at maintenance base with no problems.
