Narrative:
I was working local control. The B737 landed runway 35 and exited at the end. I cleared the DH8 for takeoff. The amass alerted that there was traffic on the runway for the DH8. I canceled takeoff clearance for the DH8. The aircraft that landed appeared to be clear.

Narrative: I WAS WORKING LCL CTL. THE B737 LANDED RWY 35 AND EXITED AT THE END. I CLRED THE DH8 FOR TKOF. THE AMASS ALERTED THAT THERE WAS TFC ON THE RWY FOR THE DH8. I CANCELED TKOF CLRNC FOR THE DH8. THE ACFT THAT LANDED APPEARED TO BE CLR.
