Narrative:
Upon working an engineering authority/authorized on an MD88 aircraft in the lower east&east compartment; for enhancing the FMS; I removed 2 lines for the pilot's air data computer and were unintentionally left off causing an air turn-back. These were removed with the intention of making the engineering authority/authorized a smoother operation. Upon removing the FMC (circuit breakers pulled and collared first); I noticed the pin hole for the new wiring was already utilized; so after notifying the aircraft maintenance coordinator; I returned to the aircraft and proceeded to return the aircraft to normal confign; forgetting about the removed lines for the air data computer. I cleaned up the area and closed the east&east compartment door. The aircraft was scheduled for a flight out of ZZZ. The aircraft did an air turn-back to the gate. It was found to have both pitot static lines removed from the air data computer.

Title: AN MD88 RELEASED FOR SVC AFTER AN ENGINEERING AUTH FOR FLT MGMNT WORK. RETURNED TO FIELD DUE TO ADC HOSES NOT CONNECTED.
Narrative: UPON WORKING AN ENGINEERING AUTH ON AN MD88 ACFT IN THE LOWER E&E COMPARTMENT; FOR ENHANCING THE FMS; I REMOVED 2 LINES FOR THE PLT'S ADC AND WERE UNINTENTIONALLY LEFT OFF CAUSING AN AIR TURN-BACK. THESE WERE REMOVED WITH THE INTENTION OF MAKING THE ENGINEERING AUTH A SMOOTHER OP. UPON REMOVING THE FMC (CIRCUIT BREAKERS PULLED AND COLLARED FIRST); I NOTICED THE PIN HOLE FOR THE NEW WIRING WAS ALREADY UTILIZED; SO AFTER NOTIFYING THE ACFT MAINT COORDINATOR; I RETURNED TO THE ACFT AND PROCEEDED TO RETURN THE ACFT TO NORMAL CONFIGN; FORGETTING ABOUT THE REMOVED LINES FOR THE ADC. I CLEANED UP THE AREA AND CLOSED THE E&E COMPARTMENT DOOR. THE ACFT WAS SCHEDULED FOR A FLT OUT OF ZZZ. THE ACFT DID AN AIR TURN-BACK TO THE GATE. IT WAS FOUND TO HAVE BOTH PITOT STATIC LINES REMOVED FROM THE ADC.
