Narrative:
On apr/sat/05; I was assigned an 'a' check on aircraft X. On walkaround; I inspected all 4 main tires for air pressure and correct installation and did not see the missing stud on #2 main tire. After I went home; I thought about it and decided to self disclose after I thought it was a safety concern. I have thought about my action that night and decided to pay closer attention on the inspections. Have had a head cold for 3 days and rain and wind made it harder for me to spot the broken stud.

Narrative: ON APR/SAT/05; I WAS ASSIGNED AN 'A' CHK ON ACFT X. ON WALKAROUND; I INSPECTED ALL 4 MAIN TIRES FOR AIR PRESSURE AND CORRECT INSTALLATION AND DID NOT SEE THE MISSING STUD ON #2 MAIN TIRE. AFTER I WENT HOME; I THOUGHT ABOUT IT AND DECIDED TO SELF DISCLOSE AFTER I THOUGHT IT WAS A SAFETY CONCERN. I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT MY ACTION THAT NIGHT AND DECIDED TO PAY CLOSER ATTN ON THE INSPECTIONS. HAVE HAD A HEAD COLD FOR 3 DAYS AND RAIN AND WIND MADE IT HARDER FOR ME TO SPOT THE BROKEN STUD.
