Narrative:
I had just sat down at the sector (4 mins into session; aedp activated). I was not entirely settled in at the sector. I recognized the 2 aircraft as traffic and put a circle around the one target. The next time around in my scan; I recognized that I needed to start the CRJ2 down for cvg but forgot about the other traffic. After descending the CRJ2; I went on with my scan. When I got back to the CRJ2; I recognized the mistake; but it was too late to maintain separation. In the future; I will be extra careful when I have just sat down and have not become 'settled' at the sector.
