Narrative:
Heavy departure/arrival push. 3 lcls working. I was working local control #1. I had 9 aircraft to depart prior to releasing intersection to local control #2 for 5-6 departures. After departing 8 aircraft; I coordinated the intersection behind aircraft #9 (the crj-9). I had 4 aircraft holding between parallel runways with 4 more on close-in final. After clearing the CRJ9 for departure (he was slow to roll); I keyed the right.I.D. Early and crossed the B757 downfield. I immediately caught the error and canceled the takeoff clearance of the crj-9. He came off the power approximately 5000-6000 ft from the intersection of the crossing aircraft. I believe the push to minimize delays may have been a causal factor in the operational error. All of the aircraft in this push were using visual separation and I had 4 aircraft holding between the runways to cross. I didn't want to block the exits off the parallel.

Title: LAS LCL CTLR EXPERIENCED OPERROR WHEN CLRING DEP AS ACFT WAS XING RWY DOWN FIELD.
Narrative: HVY DEP/ARR PUSH. 3 LCLS WORKING. I WAS WORKING LCL CTL #1. I HAD 9 ACFT TO DEPART PRIOR TO RELEASING INTXN TO LCL CTL #2 FOR 5-6 DEPS. AFTER DEPARTING 8 ACFT; I COORDINATED THE INTXN BEHIND ACFT #9 (THE CRJ-9). I HAD 4 ACFT HOLDING BTWN PARALLEL RWYS WITH 4 MORE ON CLOSE-IN FINAL. AFTER CLRING THE CRJ9 FOR DEP (HE WAS SLOW TO ROLL); I KEYED THE R.I.D. EARLY AND CROSSED THE B757 DOWNFIELD. I IMMEDIATELY CAUGHT THE ERROR AND CANCELED THE TKOF CLRNC OF THE CRJ-9. HE CAME OFF THE PWR APPROX 5000-6000 FT FROM THE INTXN OF THE XING ACFT. I BELIEVE THE PUSH TO MINIMIZE DELAYS MAY HAVE BEEN A CAUSAL FACTOR IN THE OPERROR. ALL OF THE ACFT IN THIS PUSH WERE USING VISUAL SEPARATION AND I HAD 4 ACFT HOLDING BTWN THE RWYS TO CROSS. I DIDN'T WANT TO BLOCK THE EXITS OFF THE PARALLEL.
