Narrative:
Aircraft was on delay at gate. On a turn for this shift; ground power was lost at gate. Gpu failed after APU flamed out. Aircraft was on emergency power. I received gate call; had to conserve battery power. Aircraft was fully loaded with people and children were crying. Restored aircraft power with help from ramp after receiving second power unit. After restoring aircraft and MEL on the APU; flight management computer froze up. Got a computer from stores off shelf. Made log write-up and signed. Did not look at navigation date.
