Narrative:

After being cleared direct clare on the RNAV departure out of dallas; a discontinuity to swb deleted two intermediate waypoints. We thus flew direct from clare to swb. ATC advised that this happens often and to be aware of it. We were then cleared direct hrv.

Narrative: AFTER BEING CLRED DIRECT CLARE ON THE RNAV DEPARTURE OUT OF DALLAS; A DISCONTINUITY TO SWB DELETED TWO INTERMEDIATE WAYPOINTS. WE THUS FLEW DIRECT FROM CLARE TO SWB. ATC ADVISED THAT THIS HAPPENS OFTEN AND TO BE AWARE OF IT. WE WERE THEN CLRED DIRECT HRV.
