Narrative:
The captain programmed the FMS at the gate in dfw and neither of us verified the flight plan. The captain and myself became busy and unintentionally forgot. After takeoff we flew the nobly 2 departure. In the en route climb; center asked us what fix we were navigating to. We replied lit. The controller then advised us that we should be proceeding direct the ortro intersection on the departure. The ctrl advised us that there has been some confusion with the nobly 2 departure in this regard. Then he cleared us direct lit and gave us a frequency change. The captain and myself then both referenced the chart and realized the error. If we had both verified the FMS the navigation deviation would have been avoided. In the future I will remind myself of this occurrence and diligently strive to prevent this situation from happening by verifying the FMS at the gate.

Title: CARJ FLT CREW FAILS TO VERIFY LEGS ON NOBLY SID FROM DFW. FAIL TO FLY THE TRANSITION PORTION.
Narrative: THE CAPT PROGRAMMED THE FMS AT THE GATE IN DFW AND NEITHER OF US VERIFIED THE FLT PLAN. THE CAPT AND MYSELF BECAME BUSY AND UNINTENTIONALLY FORGOT. AFTER TKOF WE FLEW THE NOBLY 2 DEP. IN THE ENRTE CLB; CENTER ASKED US WHAT FIX WE WERE NAVIGATING TO. WE REPLIED LIT. THE CTLR THEN ADVISED US THAT WE SHOULD BE PROCEEDING DIRECT THE ORTRO INTXN ON THE DEP. THE CTRL ADVISED US THAT THERE HAS BEEN SOME CONFUSION WITH THE NOBLY 2 DEP IN THIS REGARD. THEN HE CLRED US DIRECT LIT AND GAVE US A FREQ CHANGE. THE CAPT AND MYSELF THEN BOTH REFERENCED THE CHART AND REALIZED THE ERROR. IF WE HAD BOTH VERIFIED THE FMS THE NAVIGATION DEV WOULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. IN THE FUTURE I WILL REMIND MYSELF OF THIS OCCURRENCE AND DILIGENTLY STRIVE TO PREVENT THIS SITUATION FROM HAPPENING BY VERIFYING THE FMS AT THE GATE.
