Narrative:
On preflight; route checked good. Crew did not perform a thorough legs check and as a result failed to discover that the NOBLY2 RNAV departure; lit transition does not load cobug and ortro. ZFW informed us we were off route and cleared us direct lit. We erred in not completing a thorough legs check. In addition I suggest complete databases for RNAV departures and their transitions. The FMS message should begin with a warning that FMS databases for RNAV departures and transitions do not contain all required waypoints. Manual entry of waypoints is required on some RNAV sids after transition selection.
