Narrative:
Aircraft had 5 MEL's: 22-1A; 22-5D; 22-10; 34-12A; 34-44D. The 22's were in conflict as -5D and -10 required a recall check with mach trim; speed control and flight control lights on. If not; it says call maintenance for further troubleshooting. 22-1A tells maintenance to check that these lights don't illuminate. Maintenance control's initial response was that this is the way it is supposed to work. I inquired further and 2 hours later it was decided to fix the autoplt. MEL manual needs to be highlighted in some way where one MEL cancels another. Maintenance needs to have more than 1 person review multiple MEL's especially when they relate to similar system are involved.
