Narrative:
Aircraft #3 (PA28-161) landed on runway 10 and exited the active on C2. We were cleared to land on runway 10. Aircraft #3 was instructed to hold their position at C2; to allow a citation and an archer taxi to runway 10. Aircraft #3 was stopped on the taxiway right past the hold short line. Tower told us (aircraft #1) to turn off the runway on C2. We inquired as to tower's instructions; and tower confirmed C2. We turned on C2; but had to remain on runway 10 (active) because of aircraft #3. Aircraft #2 was cleared to land on runway 10; and touched down while we were still on the active. Tower told them to turn on C2 as well; and they stopped right behind us.
