Narrative:
Upon attending BE200 refresher training last week; we discovered our wing bolt inspection procedures were not consistent with current requirements as per the manufacturers. Upon subsequent discussion with other king air operators and FBO's; this is not a well known change and as I describe on the next page; a difficult and not usually read section of the structural repair manual. Do you normally go to the introduction section and expect to find latest inspection data? Information that requires a level ii or III non destructive testing trained technician and the requirement that the maintenance observer be only trained by raytheon is buried in the introduction section of the srm. Not included in the instructions to accomplish the wing bolt and fitting inspection -- called beech to request they put this requirement with the instructions to complete this inspection.
