Narrative:
Aircraft X assigned beacon abcd; computer changed it to eecd. Aircraft approximately 20 mi from my airspace still; data block jumped 50+ mi (approximately 12 mi west jfk) onto code eecd working a new york TRACON sector. Very dangerous situation of a limited (beacon code) uncorrelated with full data block flying through a busy airspace; and busy traffic session.

Narrative: ACFT X ASSIGNED BEACON ABCD; COMPUTER CHANGED IT TO EECD. ACFT APPROX 20 MI FROM MY AIRSPACE STILL; DATA BLOCK JUMPED 50+ MI (APPROX 12 MI W JFK) ONTO CODE EECD WORKING A NEW YORK TRACON SECTOR. VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION OF A LIMITED (BEACON CODE) UNCORRELATED WITH FULL DATA BLOCK FLYING THROUGH A BUSY AIRSPACE; AND BUSY TFC SESSION.
