Narrative:
I had received IFR clearance with SID to adm airport from clearance delivery. The wind was calm so we took off from runway 27 since that was where we were parked at the FBO. The elevation at axh is 76 ft. The houston class B airspace is just above it at 2000 ft MSL. I tuned in the departure frequency at houston and then took off after receiving clearance to enter class B airspace. After takeoff I saw another plane heading toward me after taking off on runway 9. Even though the runway was fairly level one could not apparently see the other end of the runway. We saw each other in time for each of us to turn away from the runway (to the right) at about 50 ft AGL.
