Narrative:

On approach into ZZZ; our flaps struck symmetrically at less than 1 degree. The leading edge flaps transit light was illuminated. Leading edge devices showed 'mid' position. We used the alternate flap extension procedure and landed flaps 15 degrees. We declared an emergency. All required procedures were followed.

Title: A B737-700 ON APCH EXPERIENCED ASYMMETRICAL FLAP PROB. THE CREW DECLARED AN EMER; EXTENDED THE FLAPS TO 15 DEGS WITH THE ALTERNATE SYS; AND CONTINUED TO A LNDG.
