Narrative:
Upon arriving in atl; I went over to the departure gate. The crew had already loaded the aircraft with passenger. The captain explained that he had done all my checks; done the preflight and the set-up check and called for the before start check. The flight proceeded as normal until the gear wouldn't come up. It was then realized that the gear pins were not removed. We notified departure of the situation and returned to atl.
