Narrative:
During the final audit of the package for aircraft XXX on dec/xa/06; I failed to recognize that several work steps on engineering authority/authorized XXX operation 4 were left blank and not signed off. During the release of the aircraft over the weekend it was not confirmed that a second and third audit was complied with on the paperwork that normally takes place (before) the aircraft is released for service. During the process of closing out a large group of paperwork with all of the distrs this was missed on my behalf and it was never confirmed that the second audit was actually complied with being there is no signature for this; it is all based on the integrity and honor system of our fellow coworkers. I was told verbally that the second audit was complied with by the second coordinator.
