Narrative:
This morning ZAU instituted extensive airspace and procedure changes; including opening new sectors. Problem observed: harly sector no data on sector numbers on new sectors opened adjacent to harly; namely 'sweet' sector. Supervisor directed my manual controller to amend route of air carrier X destined dtw. The route air carrier X was flying; bae polar 2; wasn't passing to ZOB due to automation problem associated with new sectors. My d-side was directed to alter flight plan to a route the aircraft wasn't flying to pass flight plan; and I was told that this violation of the ATP was ok today. Very significant day today in my ATC carrier; being directed to perform unsafe flight plan change by a supervisor.

Narrative: THIS MORNING ZAU INSTITUTED EXTENSIVE AIRSPACE AND PROC CHANGES; INCLUDING OPENING NEW SECTORS. THE RTE ACR X WAS FLYING; BAE POLAR 2; WASN'T PASSING TO ZOB DUE TO AUTOMATION PROB ASSOCIATED WITH NEW SECTORS.
