Narrative:
Cruising at FL340 abeam ZZZ left engine failed. Oil pressure and hydraulic pressure near zero with minimal windmill rotation. Declared emergency; started a divert to ZZZ and ran the severe damage checklist. Landed at ZZZ; stopped on the runway and had arff inspect the engine. No anomalies noted and we taxied to the gate where we changed equipment and departed. Significant kudos to the first officer for his invaluable assistance during the event. Also kudos to the ZZZ station for turning us around in 1 hour at XA00. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: post flight inspection by maintenance revealed that the accessory drive gear box had disintegrated taking out the fuel control and stopping fuel flow to the engine.
