Narrative:
This is a new arrival for clt. Clt commercial chart effective mar/xa/07. We have only recently been filed via this arrival. Approach is obviously mistaken about speed restrs on the publication arrival. We were flying the published hustn one RNAV arrival to clt. We were told by center to cross booze at 11000 ft. We were not given a speed restr. When we checked on with clt approach control we asked them what speed they would like. Note: hustn approach states to 'expect' to cross booze at 250 KTS. Approach told us to fly the speed assigned by center or comply with the RNAV arrival speed. We told approach we were not given a speed restr by center and that the RNAV arrival had an expect only speed restr at booze. Approach stated that the RNAV arrival had a required speed. It does not! We asked them again what speed they would like. They finally told us to slow to 210 KTS.
