Narrative:
About 25 mins out from ZZZ we obtained the ATIS for ZZZ; which indicated 1/4 mi visibility; indefinite ceiling 200 ft and freezing fog. We were dispatched without an alternate or alternate fuel due to forecasted WX well above requirements for alternate. We contacted dispatch while being placed in present position hold by ATC. The captain and dispatch explored several options and either the WX was below minimums or the fields were too far away given the fuel we currently had on board. Given our fuel situation; it was determined that ZZZ1 was the safest airport to divert to. The WX at ZZZ1 was clear skies and 10 mi visibility. Landing was uneventful. Departure after we had cleared at cmh was delayed due to receiving performance calculations from headquarters. This was because ZZZ1 was not in our operation specifications; therefore not in our efb.

Title: UNFORECAST BELOW MINIMUMS WX AT DESTINATION REQUIRES DIVERSION TO AN ARPT NOT AUTHORIZED FOR THE ACFT.
Narrative: ABOUT 25 MINS OUT FROM ZZZ WE OBTAINED THE ATIS FOR ZZZ; WHICH INDICATED 1/4 MI VISIBILITY; INDEFINITE CEILING 200 FT AND FREEZING FOG. WE WERE DISPATCHED WITHOUT AN ALTERNATE OR ALTERNATE FUEL DUE TO FORECASTED WX WELL ABOVE REQUIREMENTS FOR ALTERNATE. WE CONTACTED DISPATCH WHILE BEING PLACED IN PRESENT POS HOLD BY ATC. THE CAPT AND DISPATCH EXPLORED SEVERAL OPTIONS AND EITHER THE WX WAS BELOW MINIMUMS OR THE FIELDS WERE TOO FAR AWAY GIVEN THE FUEL WE CURRENTLY HAD ON BOARD. GIVEN OUR FUEL SITUATION; IT WAS DETERMINED THAT ZZZ1 WAS THE SAFEST ARPT TO DIVERT TO. THE WX AT ZZZ1 WAS CLR SKIES AND 10 MI VISIBILITY. LNDG WAS UNEVENTFUL. DEP AFTER WE HAD CLRED AT CMH WAS DELAYED DUE TO RECEIVING PERFORMANCE CALCULATIONS FROM HEADQUARTERS. THIS WAS BECAUSE ZZZ1 WAS NOT IN OUR OP SPECS; THEREFORE NOT IN OUR EFB.
