Narrative:

I was on my first solo cross country flight as a student pilot working towards my private pilot license. Upon landing on runway 5; at ZZZ; I misjudged the crosswind and did not compensate correctly for this. This resulted in an unusual landing which sent my aircraft to the left and onto a taxiway. There I brought my plane to a stop. The tower asked if I was in need of assistance and I declined. During the entire landing and entrance to the taxiway there was no other traffic; persons; or vehicles in or close to my path. Furthermore; nothing was struck or damaged including my airplane. Not being sure of this being an incident or not; I have decided to make this report. Upon returning to ZZZ1 my flight instructor and I spent time on the ground and in-flight practicing lndgs with significant and varying xwinds. Be assured of my utmost commitment to safety.
