Narrative:

When arming the 1R door the arming lever felt stiff. The arming indicators looked fine. But I disarmed the door and rearmed again with more force and the lever moved normally. Door arm indicator popped out and door appeared normal. In-flight; while moving carts; I noticed the slide pan sticking out farther than normal and obstructing access to areas that are usually accessible. At that time; I made a 'mental note' to report the door and write it up. But I failed to remember to do this before landing. It wasn't until I went to disarm the door that I remembered and knew I should have written it up in-flight. The arming lever felt really stiff and I was concerned. I saw a mechanic on the jetbridge after the passenger deplaned and asked him to please come and look at this slide. He did; and I explained the problem to him and he verified that the slide was not right. The caterers approached the door to open from the outside. I gave them a thumbs up at first because the door was disarmed and indicators verified that. But the mechanic said no! So I then motioned for the caterers not to open and they stepped back. The mechanic then opened the cockpit window and communicated to the caterers verbally to move truck away from the door.

Title: B757 FLT ATTENDANT REPORTS DIFFICULTY ARMING 1R DOOR FOR DEPARTURE AND AGAIN ON ARRIVAL. MAINTENANCE IS INFORMED.

Narrative: WHEN ARMING THE 1R DOOR THE ARMING LEVER FELT STIFF. THE ARMING INDICATORS LOOKED FINE. BUT I DISARMED THE DOOR AND REARMED AGAIN WITH MORE FORCE AND THE LEVER MOVED NORMALLY. DOOR ARM INDICATOR POPPED OUT AND DOOR APPEARED NORMAL. INFLT; WHILE MOVING CARTS; I NOTICED THE SLIDE PAN STICKING OUT FARTHER THAN NORMAL AND OBSTRUCTING ACCESS TO AREAS THAT ARE USUALLY ACCESSIBLE. AT THAT TIME; I MADE A 'MENTAL NOTE' TO RPT THE DOOR AND WRITE IT UP. BUT I FAILED TO REMEMBER TO DO THIS BEFORE LNDG. IT WASN'T UNTIL I WENT TO DISARM THE DOOR THAT I REMEMBERED AND KNEW I SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN IT UP INFLT. THE ARMING LEVER FELT REALLY STIFF AND I WAS CONCERNED. I SAW A MECH ON THE JETBRIDGE AFTER THE PAX DEPLANED AND ASKED HIM TO PLEASE COME AND LOOK AT THIS SLIDE. HE DID; AND I EXPLAINED THE PROB TO HIM AND HE VERIFIED THAT THE SLIDE WAS NOT RIGHT. THE CATERERS APCHED THE DOOR TO OPEN FROM THE OUTSIDE. I GAVE THEM A THUMBS UP AT FIRST BECAUSE THE DOOR WAS DISARMED AND INDICATORS VERIFIED THAT. BUT THE MECH SAID NO! SO I THEN MOTIONED FOR THE CATERERS NOT TO OPEN AND THEY STEPPED BACK. THE MECH THEN OPENED THE COCKPIT WINDOW AND COMMUNICATED TO THE CATERERS VERBALLY TO MOVE TRUCK AWAY FROM THE DOOR.
