Narrative:
Air carrier X was deviating for WX inbound to ind. He said he was clear to go to scarf; where the STAR begins. I gave him the crossing needed to meet the LOA of 12000 ft. No pointout was done to cvg approach before he left 14000 ft and he violated their airspace. While I know that the mistake was wholly mine; a contributing factor was my not feeling well enough to work that day. We had just been briefed that using sick leave in conjunction with a traditional weekend can be examined for sick leave abuse. Although I knew I didn't feel well enough; I went to work to try to avoid that situation. A possible correction for the problem would be for the FAA management to stop threatening employees for using sick leave; and realize that in our job there are some days you just shouldn't work even if you are not terribly sick.
