Narrative:
The #1 pack was deferred inoperative. Some maintenance was done on pack #2 due to numerous inbound logs for high cabin temperature. On departure passing about 9000 ft pack #2 overheat occurred. We leveled at 10000 ft to complete ECAM. Pack #2 came back on after several mins. An additional ECAM for air pack #2 regulator fault occurred. We talked to dispatch and maintenance and decided safest thing to do would be to return to ZZZ. Cabin never exceeded 10000 ft. Return uneventful.
