Narrative:

When approach control was preparing to clear us to a point near sdf; the controller said; 'I am going to clear you to a point; are you ready to copy?' he had to do this for other aircraft as well. It seems that the word 'brdon' is hard to convey. Confusion with the radar fix 'brbon' for the ILS runway 35L is also possible. I recommend changing 'brdon' to 'slugr' for ease of use and to remain in keeping with louisville's heritage. Brdon is similar to a radar fix on the ILS runway 35L approach called brbon. Change brdon to slugr to avoid confusion and give ATC a more user-friendly name for the fix.

I RECOMMEND CHANGING 'BRDON' TO 'SLUGR' FOR EASE OF USE AND TO REMAIN IN KEEPING WITH LOUISVILLE'S HERITAGE. BRDON IS SIMILAR TO A RADAR FIX ON THE ILS RWY 35L APCH CALLED BRBON.
