Narrative:
Tailwheel attachment bolt to springs broke on landing. I maintained directional control until very slow speed then plane turned 45 degrees to left in the resulted definition of a 'ground loop.' once plane touched down; plane did not leave the runway.

Title: TAILWHEEL SPRING ATTACHMENT FAILURE ON LNDG RESULTS IN MODEST GROUND LOOP FOR HOMEBUILT.
Narrative: TAILWHEEL ATTACHMENT BOLT TO SPRINGS BROKE ON LNDG. I MAINTAINED DIRECTIONAL CTL UNTIL VERY SLOW SPD THEN PLANE TURNED 45 DEGS TO L IN THE RESULTED DEFINITION OF A 'GND LOOP.' ONCE PLANE TOUCHED DOWN; PLANE DID NOT LEAVE THE RWY.
