In-flight at 11000 ft the right front windshield multiple cracked. Complied with QRH procedures declared emergency and returned to ZZZ. Landed safe. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that the cracks obscured vision and were on the outer pane. Maintenance took the aircraft directly to the hangar after its return to the gate.

Title: THE FRONT RIGHT WINDSHIELD OF A B737 DEVELOPED MULTIPLE CRACKS AT 11000 FT CLIMBING AFTER TAKEOFF. AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED WITH A RETURN TO LAND.

MAINTENANCE TOOK THE AIRCRAFT DIRECTLY TO THE HANGAR AFTER ITS RETURN TO THE GATE.
