Narrative:
Aircraft called the abq radio inflight position to request IFR clearance to mhk. The aircraft was advised of airmets for IFR and turbulence for his route of flight; but the current airmet for icing for the kansas portion of the route was not given because it was not displayed in either graphical or text format by the flightwinds program of the fs-21 system.

Title: FTW IAFSS Specialist described event when applicable AIRMET was not issued to IFR aircraft because information was not available at the position.
Narrative: Aircraft called the ABQ radio inflight position to request IFR clearance to MHK. The aircraft was advised of AIRMETs for IFR and turbulence for his route of flight; but the current AIRMET for icing for the Kansas portion of the route was not given because it was not displayed in either graphical or text format by the FlightWinds program of the FS-21 system.
