Narrative:

We were given clearance by lse ground control to taxi to runway 36 via taxiway F. During the taxi out; the first officer was making the PA announcement and I was monitoring ATC 1. I switched to lse tower and told them we would be ready for departure at the end. I got no response and once the first officer was back on frequency; he also informed the tower that we were number one for departure. We were cleared for takeoff and shortly after were turned over to departure control. In retrospect I believe that I may have taxied past the hold short line for runway 36 prior to the takeoff clearance being given; although neither lse ground control nor tower told us we may have done so. I did not remember seeing any hold short lines for runway 36 and once we departed; I thought that they may have been crossed prior to the takeoff clearance being given. This was my first time as pilot in command at lse airport. I consulted the airport diagram for lse and there were no hot spot locations depicted on the chart. There were no wig-wag lights at the departure end of the runway. The hold short lines for runway 36 are placed extremely far back on taxiway F which runs parallel to the runway. Update airport diagram for hot spot location at runway 36 at taxiway F. I will be much more vigilant taxiing at airports that I am not familiar with.

Title: Air carrier Captain does not recall seeing the hold line for Runway 36 on Taxiway F at LSE prior to takeoff and believes it may have been crossed without clearance. Reporter suggests a hot spot be added to airport diagram as hold line is well back from runway.
