Narrative:
After takeoff; climbing to 5000 ft got an ECAM pressure advisory message. Check pressurization aircraft was not pressurizing. Forward outflow valve was closed aft outflow valve was 3/4 open. No fault message. Went to manual close no response. Pressurization was still rapidly climbing. Requested to remain at 5000 ft and return to departure airport. Declared an emergency for overweight landing. Landed normal 100 FPM at touchdown. Landing weight 342;000 pounds.

Title: An A300 aft outflow valve failed in the nearly open position preventing pressurization after takeoff. An emergency was declared followed by a return to their departure airport.
