Narrative:
Upon approach to 18C in cvg the tower instructed a crash fire rescue equipment truck to hold short of runway 18C on runway 9. There are no hold short lines on runway 9 to hold short of runway 18C. So how does the truck driver know when he infringes or incurs on 18C roll out path without lines? The truck never had to hold short before we landed. Suggestion: do not give these kinds of instructions or put hold short lines on runway 9 to hold short of 18c.
Original NASA ASRS Text
