Narrative:
We were executing the lda prm 28R approach to sfo 2 miles behind a 747 on the ILS prm 28L. We broke out above MDA with the runway and preceding aircraft in sight and received clearance to land. We proceeded along the approach path to the runway and at 300 ft AGL; we encountered wake turbulence that suddenly and rapidly rolled the aircraft into 30 degrees left bank. We recovered the aircraft and executed a go-around. We returned for an uneventful ILS prm 28L approach and landing. This event occurred because the spacing between a heavy and large aircraft executing prm approaches to sfo may have been too close.

Title: B737 Captain landing Runway 28R reported encountering wake turbulence from preceding B747 landing Runway 28L at 300 FT AGL. After recovering from a sharp roll to the left the crew executed a go-around.
