Narrative:
Filed clearance was the tralr departure. The pre departure clearance had a change to the stavv. Both the first officer and I missed the change during the preflight. The error was not discovered until the second departure controller. The change was missed largely due to the format of the pre departure clearance. (It certainly couldn't be all my fault!) when reviewing the pre departure clearance; the tralr departure still shows up. My eyes saw what they were looking for; instead of reading the departure clearance line by line.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: An air carrier flight crew failed to take note of the revised portion of their PDC clearance and flew their filed SID instead of the SID assigned in the clearance.
