Narrative:
We waited at the end of the runway 31L at boeing field for 39 minutes before being cleared for takeoff. As we were cleared for takeoff; ATC told us to maintain 2100 ft; at 1000 ft turn left to 250. Be advised; traffic for sea was arriving ahead as they were landing runway 16 at sea; opposite traffic to bfi departures. On takeoff we encountered traffic; RA was announced and we turned left and maintained 1100 ft steering clear of the traffic. Our takeoff weight was 173.1 so we had a fast acceleration and fast climb. I believe the 2 airports should not be conducting opposite traffic patterns; as they are so close to each other.
