Narrative:
Once again raas interfered with sterile cockpit and tower communication. Tower was very busy and we were listening carefully for any instructions to hold short of 1L or 1R as we taxied to 28L. Just as we were about to cross 1L we heard 'approaching 01L.' tower was talking a mile a minute and we would have missed any transmission for us. To top that off; there was no 'approaching 1R; or 28L' call from the system. This whole system is a solution that's worse than the problem.
