Narrative:
While executing the dalton 19 departure at teb we exceeded the initial departure altitude of 1300 ft; momentarily reaching 1500 ft before immediately correcting. The deviation was caused by the autopilot disconnecting while in the altitude select (level off) mode and the rapid rate of climb produced by light aircraft weight and cool ambient conditions.
