Narrative:
Left engine vibration indicator was in amber orange near top of climb after departure. Captain declared an emergency after QRH procedures were accomplished. We diverted and made an uneventful overweight landing.

Title: A B757's left engine indicated a vibration in the amber caution range. The QRH directed an engine shutdown. The crew declared an emergency and landed overweight at an enroute airport.
