Narrative:

I was the #4 flight attendant on a md-80 aircraft. Upon takeoff and climb; I noticed unusually strong cold air coming in under and around the door adjacent to my jumpseat. It was so strong it made any carpet strands ripple. Simultaneously; the cockpit called to apprise us that they were having difficulties pressurizing the cabin and they had declared an emergency returning to the departure airport. I informed the cockpit I felt it was my door leaking. We were informed no special procedures were necessary and that the captain would make an announcement to the passengers; which he did. We landed safely. Aircraft was taken out of service and another was provided at an alternate gate. No further incidents followed. Upon switching aircraft; the cockpit shared with me that this had been written up for four days.
