We were cleared to land during visual approach followed by decision to go-around from 300 ft AGL due to small single engine aircraft crossing the approach end of the runway very slowly. The pilot was not in contact with the tower during the event. Uneventful go-around and landing. Tower later requested pilot of small aircraft to phone them.
