Narrative:
[A] passenger was intoxicated and poking a flight attendant. She would not stop and swore at him and other flight attendants. I asked if he wanted to divert and he said no; have security meet the aircraft [upon arrival]. Level 1 security 'disruptive passenger' [declared]; airport police took passenger to detox. We also had a phone patch with [operations] during the situation. Crew did an outstanding job.

Title: An air carrier Captain reported a disruptive passenger problem enroute. The police met the aircraft to take custody of the apparently intoxicated individual.
