Narrative:
On landing approach the landing gear did not come down when selected. We departed the area to the south and went through checklists. We were unable to get the gear to come down in a safe configuration. We declared an emergency and diverted to a more suitable airport and finally landed with the nose gear up and the main gear down; but not locked.
