Narrative:
We LNAV'd the ewr 8 departure and noticed that the FMGC didn't turn at the 2.3 DME fix off of the localizer ilsq. The FMGC didn't make a turn until 3.5 or so. I haven't flown out of ewr in awhile; but recall this happening before. I've called around to other pilots and they've noticed this as a trend too. A notice needs to come out to have us not LNAV the departure until the software gets corrected.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A320 Captain reports his aircraft turns late on the EWR 8 departure off of Runway 22R using LNAV. Turning at approximately 3.5 DME instead of 2.3 to a 220 heading.
