Narrative:
I have been instructed by my flight operations management to complete post merger training. I have completed the training as required. I do not feel that I can safely perform my responsibilities as a first officer with the upcoming changes without additional training in a training device. I am concerned about a significant lack of training; I am uncomfortable operating the aircraft with the upcoming changes without additional training; and I feel that I cannot safely perform my duties until sufficiently trained. I believe that training should include; at a minimum; 3 hours of training with an instructor to review changes and 3 hours in a fix base simulator to perform the changes in the QRH. Please forward these concerns to the local FAA poi. It is my intention to request an order to fly from my flight operations upon release of the new changes unless I receive additional training. This integration plan is unsafe.
