Narrative:
On takeoff roll heavy smoke in the cockpit and cabin of the aircraft. Aborted takeoff; told flight attendants to remain seated and stopped the aircraft. Put on oxygen masks; declared an emergency; turned air conditioning packs off and had to open windows to see. After turning off the air conditioning packs smoke dissipated with the windows open. [We] had the fire trucks follow us to the gate.

Title: A B737-900 flight crew rejected their takeoff and declared an emergency when the cockpit filled with smoke at 35 KTS during the takeoff roll.
