Narrative:
On final for landing runway 27 at mci, during normal gear extension, a failure of gear indicator lights. A go around was executed and a turn to the north was initiated as directed by the tower. The gear indicator failure checklist was completed and gear down was confirmed by mechanical indicators (backup). Landing was uneventful. An emergency was not declared. Cause was an open C/B with no white collar showing.

Title: ACR MLG FAILED TO GET GEAR DOWN INDICATION AFTER EXTENSION.
Narrative: ON FINAL FOR LNDG RWY 27 AT MCI, DURING NORMAL GEAR EXTENSION, A FAILURE OF GEAR INDICATOR LIGHTS. A GO AROUND WAS EXECUTED AND A TURN TO THE N WAS INITIATED AS DIRECTED BY THE TWR. THE GEAR INDICATOR FAILURE CHKLIST WAS COMPLETED AND GEAR DOWN WAS CONFIRMED BY MECHANICAL INDICATORS (BACKUP). LNDG WAS UNEVENTFUL. AN EMER WAS NOT DECLARED. CAUSE WAS AN OPEN C/B WITH NO WHITE COLLAR SHOWING.
