Narrative:
On approach to st louis, F/a notified me of a fire in galley oven. I told her to put out with fire extinguisher and then notified st louis approach of our situation and requested fire equipment to be stationed by bravo intersection and runway 30L for our arrival. Had first officer check situation, he advised fire out. Landed, had firemen board aircraft at bravo taxiway. When under total control I had passengers deplaned onto taxiway due to residual smoke and halon fumes in aircraft. No injuries.
