Narrative:
Upon cruise (anticipating descent) a military MTR flew underneath our light transport aircraft at 6800' heading 300 degree. Our course was 160 degree. No evasive action was necessary on our part and it appeared that no action was taken by the pilot of the MTR. Separation was clearly less than 500' and in our estimation was within 200'. Upon querying controller, he stated that he was busy with something else, and did not have time to call traffic.
