Narrative:
Air carrier X destination stl on brush 1 STAR cleared to descend to FL160, expect oddly at 100 and 250 KTS. Pilot read back correct. Traffic was corp Y sebnd destination bna, at 150. Mode C altitude read out showed air carrier X through 160 (15.7). I asked X to verify assigned altitude. Pilot answered oddly at 100, 250 KTS. I informed X that this was incorrect that his altitude was 160. By this time X was through 147 and approximately 4-6 NM west of aircraft Y, diverging. Pilot of X asked what I wanted him to do. I informed X that the traffic Y at 150 was no longer a factor, and to cross oddly at 100 250 KTS.

Title: LESS THAN STANDARD SEPARATION BETWEEN ACR AND CORP ACFT. PLT DEVIATION OR OPERATIONAL ERROR.
Narrative: ACR X DEST STL ON BRUSH 1 STAR CLRED TO DSND TO FL160, EXPECT ODDLY AT 100 AND 250 KTS. PLT READ BACK CORRECT. TFC WAS CORP Y SEBND DEST BNA, AT 150. MODE C ALT READ OUT SHOWED ACR X THROUGH 160 (15.7). I ASKED X TO VERIFY ASSIGNED ALT. PLT ANSWERED ODDLY AT 100, 250 KTS. I INFORMED X THAT THIS WAS INCORRECT THAT HIS ALT WAS 160. BY THIS TIME X WAS THROUGH 147 AND APPROX 4-6 NM W OF ACFT Y, DIVERGING. PLT OF X ASKED WHAT I WANTED HIM TO DO. I INFORMED X THAT THE TFC Y AT 150 WAS NO LONGER A FACTOR, AND TO CROSS ODDLY AT 100 250 KTS.
